Community Giving Fund
We are pleased to share the grantees for the
Community Giving Fund cycle for 2024-25 below.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley inspire and empower all young people to realize their full potential as productive responsible and caring adults, especially those living in disenfranchised neighborhoods. The $10,000 Summit League Community Giving grant will support the implementation of Core Enrichment programming and contribute towards achieving the expected youth outcomes across all clubhouses.
Cristo Rey San José Jesuit High School is a Jesuit, Catholic high school that empowers students from underserved communities in San José to be men and women for others who are prepared spiritually, academically, and professionally to complete college. The $10,000 Summit League Community Giving grant will provide scientific and regular school supplies for CRSJ students.
Humane Society Silicon Valley save lives, keep families together, and create a better future for pets and their people. The $10,000 Summit League Community Giving grant will help to defray cost of continuing operations upended due to a catastrophic fire at the Milpitas shelter, including the Regional Rescue Program, providing veterinary care, and Pet Pantry program, in addition to providing over 40,000 animal meals and transporting animals for medical treatments.
NUMU engages the community at the intersection of art, history, and education through innovative, locally connected and globally relevant exhibits, programs, and experiences. The $10,000 Summit League Community Giving grant will support the 14th year ArtNow 2025: Dreamscapes (April 4-July 20, 2025), specifically to ensure all students have access to the program, i.e. exhibit support and producing ArtNow materials, distribution of art supplies to select classrooms in need and offering more opportunities for onsite and virtual info sessions.
The Salvation Army- Golden State Division serves a homeless/food insecure population at its downtown headquarters on North 4th Street in San Jose. The $15,000 Summit League Community Giving grant will provide over 150 daily meals for seniors, and an average of 600 meals monthly to unhoused individuals at Emmanual House transitional housing, in addition to distributing 200-400 nutritious food boxes daily to underserved families.
